Roseville, CA (July 19, 2022) – Today, Jonathan Zachreson, founder of the highly effective group Reopen California Schools, officially announced his candidacy for the Roseville City School District School Board.
“Roseville families need elected representatives to stand up for them at all levels of government. I plan on bringing leadership not just within the school district, but by collaborating with other local and state representatives to ensure our community values are best represented,” said Jonathan.
Jonathan’s incumbent opponent voted against reopening schools and against unmasking students, both things Jonathan tirelessly fought for. Speaking of his opponent’s record, Jonathan said, “As we move beyond COVID, it’s important we elect school board members who have demonstrated foresight, good judgment, and the courage to lead. That is why I’m running to become the next board member for Roseville City School District.”
Prior to his current job as a finance manager at a large health care system, Jonathan was an auditor for a top international accounting firm. Jonathan plans to bring his 20+ years of business and finance experience to the school district.
Jonathan has lived in Roseville for nearly 15 years with his wife and kids. His kids’ ages range from two months to 18 years old and have attended, or will attend, Roseville City schools.
